"El Caracol" is a small hotel in Centro (downtown) Isla Mujeres with comfortable, air conditioned and very clean rooms. We also have a communal kitchen for our guests use.  In 1971 we opened our doors for people who want to stay on Isla Mujeres at a very reasonable rate. Hotel El Caracol is only two blocks from Playa Norte (North Beach) one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean and three blocks from the Zócalo (town center). With some of Isla's best restaurants and stores just around the corner, El Caracol is conveniently located to enjoy Downtown Isla life.
